Greetings, It's quite easy to miss the moral on this week's episode because it handled the actual lesson on the very small side of the scale. But ultimately, it's a brief glimpse of what can happen when we focus too much on what we want from the world instead of what we can give back to those we love. Money gets spent. The things we buy will break and deteriorate. Then they'll be worthless. So it's better that we spend what time we can with those we care about. The memories that we make and the way that we help each other out will last much longer than anything. Furthermore, what good is the world if you have nobody to share it with? At the very least, this type of situation gets lonely. It can also be noted how Rarity and Applejack were so well practiced on not valuing what they want over each other that it actually backfired on them. But after a certain point, I think it became more about needing to win the generosity battle. But that's a conversation for a different day and they ended up finding a nice compromise anyway.
