-This is the sketching part of your piece, don't be afraid to make mistakes! Make messy sketches, play with poses, don't try to perfect the sketch since no one will even see it as your finished piece, so don't stress on not having every detail in your sketches.

-References are your best friend. Use them for pose ideas and the way limbs work with movement. I looked up horse poses for this one, you can also search cartoon animal poses, depending on how limbs work for your style.

-When trying to find your style, as yourself basic questions: Realistic or Cartoon? Cell-Shading or Soft-Shading? Lines or lineless? Know what you want, and what you like, and use that as your style so you know you will enjoy drawing everytime.
