This is an animation of the story being told through the banners going up at r/mylittlepony for the ten days leading up to the Season 4 premiere. 

This was designed to be a gif, which is why it's, uh, 500x175. I ALSO didn't expect it to have music. I quickly threw in this gorgeous music box version of Celestia's Ballad by MrMelodicPony (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r58y9VwaIec), making for something sappier than what I started out making. But... well, it is what it is.
