After poking around on the internet and finagling with my audio software a little, I managed to reverse-engineer the vocal effect used by WoodenToaster (Glaze) in "Nightmare Night." This is the result. Let me know what you think in the comments. There are several reasons. First, I did not have access to the actual project file for Nightmare Night (though I would LOVE to see that), so I had to do some "creative editing" to get my vocal to fit in with the instrumental track. Second, I am not Glaze, so I don't sound exactly like him. Third, I didn't record my vocal in the same room or with the same microphone that Glaze did. Finally, Glaze is a skilled vocalist giving a performance for a song, while I was just recording my voice to demo the effect. What software did you use to make it? I used FL Studio 11, using the NewTone plugin. But you can use any DAW to make it, as long as you have access to either NewTone or Melodyne. Will you be doing a tutorial on this effect?
