Double Rainboom is a short film written, directed, & produced by FlamingoRich (Zachary Rich) for his college curriculum – and it is the first-ever fan-made episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  

   Through the combined efforts of bronies across the internet and other students from the Savannah College of Art & Design – as well as special permission from Hasbro Inc. - the episode features a full orchestral score, studio-quality sound effects, voice actresses for the ponies, and show-accurate animation.

   The crew consisted of over 100 talented artists and individuals - all of whom worked for free - and took 54 weeks from start to finish. It was published on YouTube on March 30th, 2013 - and currently has over 12 million views.
