I have noticed a surprising lack of Bluegrass in the fandom. Here is my beginning attempt to fix that :). The tune is an old bluegrass tune by the name of The Wabash Cannonball, popularized by Roy Acuff. It is an amazing folk song with an amazing history. Google it. Thanks to my parents for help recording it, singing it, and performing it. This is the second pony song I have written. Still getting accustomed to the recording software and uploading process. I hope to have more interesting images later. ***UPDATE: I think the panning is fixed on it this time around. Also first time trying to paint a cover.*** Free download at (...don't try to pay for it... Lyrics: From Manehattan down to Baltimare and Appaloosa by the way To the states along the ocean where the sea...ponies play There's a well-known locomotive that traverses all terrain When you board The Friendship Express you only stand to gain There's a mail mare down in Ponyville her eyes are off the wall She flies the mail from here to there and is loved by one and all The only line she trusts to make deliveries on time The Friendship Express to Ponyville can always make the climb Chorus: Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar Smell the ash rise from the smokestack as in days of yore May the iron horse I speak of always have success The one best way to travel is on the Friendship Express Break From Stalliongrad to Canterlot the ponies always say It's the best way to travel by both night and day The fillies come from miles around when they hear that whistle blow The Friendship Express to Ponyville is the only way to go Raise your glass to Spike the Dragon for the crystal heart he saved The crystal ponies thank him now that they are not enslaved Sombra now is beaten and the mares are headed home On the Friendship Express to Ponyville over hill and dale to roam Chorus: Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar Smell the ash rise from the smokestack as in days of yore May the iron horse I speak of always have success The one best way to travel is on the Friendship Express Break Chorus: Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar Smell the ash rise from the smokestack as in days of yore May the iron horse I speak of always have success The one best way to travel is on the Friendship Express credits: released 22 January 2014 Re - released March 14 2014 Skypause - Mandolin and Lyrics Mommapause - Guitar and Vocals Pappapause - Banjo
