This song has been sitting on my soundcloud for months. While I don't feel it's well performed or composed, it has significant meaning to me. I wrote it during a time of deep thought and emotional confusion. I had a late night, and some time to think about my life. I was enveloped in a good feeling that I was on the right track, that someone was looking out for me, and that while I was about to make some very hard decisions things would work out. This feeling has never let me down. And this particular time, it was affirmation about the person I would spend the rest of my life with.

The photo for the background also has some significant meaning to me. I had been working at a call center for nearly 3 years. As my happiness faded over that time doing something I had no enjoyment in, I saw this beautiful refraction of the light shining through the window into my drink, and it reminded me of the simple beauty the world is full of. I started to appreciate all of the little things I had in my life: a place to live, friends, a loving family, a steady income. I made a hard decision that day and I quit my job. I have since then been involved full time in Video Game Development, a passion and dream since I have been small.

The complexity of life is a perception. Life can be simple if you devote some time to think.
