This song is essentially a chronological successor to "Existential 18".  It continues after Apple Bloom cuts her own wrist do to her depression.  Fearing her friends and family will judge/ blame her for her actions she runs away.

The only inspiration I can think I had for this song was 1) the premise of "Existential 18" and 2) classic punk artists like Sex Pistols, Wiper, The Dils.
