If for some strange reason you're watching this but haven't heard the original (and may I add Good) version by Michelle Creber, then what are you doing. Leave, go listen enjoy. It's beautiful. The entire album is fantastic. Buy it. Download it. Oh man. Let me tell you what though. Talk about Murphy's law. I mean, I just wanted to do a cover of my favorite Michelle Creber song. First, for some unknown reason my audio interface would only record in stereo. Which is only an issue with the stupid video editing program I use. The vocals and piano were each going through different channels, so alright bet. I download a program that can change an MP3 file that is stereo to mono. Easy, I'll just take the audio, make it an MP3 file and fix it than move it back to the original editing software. Done, but wait. Now for some reason there's this thumping noise. I couldn't hear it before when it was stereo but now that it's mono for some unknown reason there it is. Wanna know what its is? It's the sound of me physically pushing the keys on the keyboard. Not sure if it's because I had the mic sitting on the keyboard and the sound was the cause of vibrations or whatever. Anyway, it's done. Not done well, but done. Man I need a drink. Why'd I give up alcohol? Alright so I don't get many views and I'm sure the 8 people who might actually watch this probably won't read the description but if you did then how's it going? I'm debating doing a On Display in December series next month. Basically it'd be me playing a song off of Michelle Creber's On Display album on piano but replacing all the lyrics with a random Christmas song. I'd probably just draw the track and Christmas song randomly out of a hat or something, I don't know. If you have any opinions dear reader let me know.
