In celebration of Shark Week, here is me reading the first three paragraphs of the 1974 novel by Peter Benchley that inspired the Steven Spielberg film. Peter Benchley himself cameos in the Jaws film. The movie differs from the novel in some ways, but both found incredible success based on there own merits.
