This is a parody of "Come Together" by The Beatles, sung in the style of Aerosmith’s cover. I wrote this parody YEARS ago (I’ve since updated it a bit). At that time, I had not heard of BeatleBrony. When I found out about them, I decided not to write any more Beatles parodies (which eventually was impossible to resist, but that’s a story for another day). To avoid stepping on BeatleBrony’s "turf”, I recorded this parody in the style of Aerosmith’s cover of the song. [See http://youtu.be/BjoN2yXwmoc] I think this might have been a mistake, given my (lack of) vocal ability. Let’s just say that Steve Tyler doesn’t have to worry about me putting him out of a job! However, I wrote stanzas for all of the Mane Six. Here are the ones that, sadly, didn’t make it into the final song: Here’s Applejack now, she likes bucking apples She got quiet brother, she sell apple cider She say, "Country life is right for me" Tends the farm with Big Mac, Apple Bloom and Gran-ny Herd together, right now M.L.P. Here's Fluttershy now, she got squeaky shy voice She got bunny sidekick, she win Cockatrice stare-down She say, "I would like to be a tree" At the Gala, she screams, "YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE ME!" Herd together, right now M.L.P. =================================== OTHER PONY PARODIES OF THIS SONG I mentioned BeatleBrony above. They also made a parody of this song, called "Blank Flank”: http://youtu.be/JYRz7gwkDW8
