In the vain of the Adam Young "stomp-clap" tracks in his score projects (such as "Sheman" and "Shackelton," I decided to take a crack at recorded-sample driven beats , along with improving my basic guitar skills.

Alexander von Humboldt was a late 17th and early 18th century naturalist and explorer who traveled the Americas and Siberia, on a mission to connect nature as a whole, as a part of human life. He would climb through the Andes and the Alps, converse philosophy with Simon Bolivar and Thomas Jefferson, and he was quite the imagery evoker in his descriptions. This image is his Naturgemälde, a  visual listing of all the vegetation found at different altitudes on the Chimborazo, a volcano in the Andes thought to be the highest at the time.
