Lightning Dust drifted through the new nighttime skies.

It felt like a childhood house that had been remodeled, with walls & rooms in the right places yet filled contrary to memory. The clouds weren't where they should. The lightning flashed from where it shouldn't. The winds blew without patterns.

Yet it still felt like home.

After being grounded for so long, even though it felt wrong, it still felt like where she was supposed to be.

And it was thanks to a chance meeting with that nerdy unicorn.
