Hey guys!  

I didn't set out to do an original animation with this project but ended up falling in love with this song and pretty much shutting down any other options. It also gave me the freedom to take my own route with the motions and different shots so in the end I'm really grateful!  This was supposed to just be an animation project for practice that I wasn't going to upload but I realized that I hadn't done an official Memorial tribute this year yet so felt compelled to upload it anyway. 

Even though I'm not 100% happy and this project has a few flaws it was just for practice and I've learned from it. 
I played around with layering backgrounds, animating wings and body parts and multilevel transitions. It was wonderful practice! 

This project is dedicated to Mori. If you're new to this channel and haven't heard about her she was a really close friend of mine who passed away some time ago and each year I try to do a project featuring the OC, during her birthday month. I missed July but recovered and am now ready to post this in August. Her OC is named Cosmic Flower and this project features a human version of her for the first time ever! I couldn't have been happier with her character design! :)
