"This song is about idolizing people- and how it can lead to setting up disaster, as well as how you can even use people as negative idols. Growing up I had difficulty learning what was right for me due to my father, and he always believed himself to be this icon that no-one can touch. This song is me standing up to this, sarcastically calling him an "idol", and about me processing the feelings I have towards him now."
