It's been a while since my last upload. New stuff should be coming more frequently again from this point on. :) This time we've got a bit more fast-paced piece. This is the first song I've done that has been completely built around percussion, so got something new going on there. The song is based around not only Ember herself, but the Dragon Lands she rules over. The percussion and the more traditional symphonic elements convey the power, respect and perhaps even fear (not too much though, she's a nice dragon lol) she holds over the land she rules over. The Indian elements I feel add an element of mystique and antiquity that very well suit a distant land like the Dragon Lands. They also add an element of roughness and simplicity fitting for such lands. But beauty, too, that very well depicts Ember's softer and slightly more ethereal, almost Godly, side as a ruler. Towards the end I also added some choirs to depict this side some more as well. Speaking of Godly, I find that this picture of Ember by DimWitDog suits the song perfectly. Not only is it a great piece of art on its own, but I find the clash of the background colours with the blue figure of Ember in front to be reminiscent of paintings of Hindu Gods or something, which goes very well with the Indian theme of the music. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! :) Twitter: https://twitter.com/KalloSkull Amazing Ember artwork by DimWitDog: https://twitter.com/tDimWitDog/status/1185379499698843650
