Happy Halloween / Nightmare Night, everyone! Not only is today Halloween, but it's also Trixie Day! I decided to create a song for everybody's favourite pony magician. This one has a bit of a carnival feel going for it, and I think it has a somewhat eerie or perhaps "witchy" feel to it too, so it fits quite nicely not only with Trixie, but also with the season. And the image has a bit of dark Trixie in it too, so even more fitting! I think the title "Spellbinder" fits Trixie quite well; I feel she is so in more than one way. Not only is she a literal stage magician, but there's also nobody better at talking and captivating a crowd (or at least nobody who thinks they're as good, heh). Not only that, but as the image shows, she might be binding some spells into a book for later use, while under the influence of the Alicorn Amulet. Perhaps to use on Nightmare Night? Ooooh! This one is a bit different to any of the music I've written so far. A lot more chill, too. I had a bit of trouble coming up with what genre to even call it, because it's rather unique if I do say so myself. I was drawing a blank and just decided to go with "Synthetic Orchestral" for the lack of a better idea. Let me know if you think there's a more fitting genre to call this.
