I don't have the best improvisational skills but I get by. The Viola has a locked phase expression control, meaning it changes between a low dynamic sample, and a high dynamic sample. The Violin doesn't have this, and it just sounds like the volume is changing. Embertone does have plans to upgrade their Violin and Cello though.
