My last song for the year, almost seems fitting that I end 2014 with this song. Means a lot, feels right.

I wanted to cover this song since EFNW this year, but I never got around to it until a few months ago. Even then it was slow work cause I couldn't figure out some of the guitar parts. I eventually got it down though and I think I put together a pretty nice cover.

This year has been a long and generally bad one for me... There have been highlights: conventions, some of them at least, making new friends, graduating from college and landing a full time job. But the entire year has been laced with downs as well.

This song kind of pulled a lot of those feelings together. It's oddly funny, I remember this song first coming out and loved it. I've listened to Dave on and off since, but this song has stuck with me. It's a sad song, though the video ends well, the lyrics don't agree.

In the end of the song, he admits he still hopes they'll get together again, and that she'll met his heart again, but he knows this is the last song...

This is my last song for 2014, and hopefully my last song for you...

I'll be back with more music stuffs in 2015 though. Don't worry.
