So this one has a backstory. When Kate and I were writing music this Summer I came up with a challenge for us. We would each pick one of our favorite songs that the other person hadn't heard before and then only give them the lyrics, and then they would have to make the melody / music and everything else on their own.

I ended up telling a co-worker about this project that we did and she said she really wanted me to do one for her. So she gave me some lyrics (which I presumed were country knowing her - I was right) and then a bit later I came up with this.
