So new song! I tried to write some orchestral stuff here. I like orchestral music, it's cool. But I also wanted to give it a not-so-formal touch, therefore guitar.

So basically the writing process for this one was a bit different than usual:

It all started with a commission asking for a Roseluck song by Reddit user /u/Dwarflord. But in order to write a song about Roseluck, I had to imagine her personality first, as she's a background pony with very few speaking roles.

In the end I came to the conclusion that she's a pony who can be funny and have a good time, but also can appreciate nature and everything in the world, while being thoughtful, elegant and kind. She tends to be a bit stubborn, and she prefers to be alone. That's my headcanon on Roseluck. So what would suit her better than an orchestral song?

Next thing I did was picture her sitting on a cliff during sunset, and then found this image which was very fitting. Wrote the song in about two nights and here I am with a new song!

I don't really know what kind of influences I had while writing this song. I guess it just came to me.
