I once read someone stating it would not be long before there was a full episode made in SFM. Wondered what that would look like... Wanted to see how I could do with lip syncing, so made this. It is a reenactment of a scene from Season 1 "Party of One". Took about 55-60 hours. Made it a goal to put as much detail as I could in. Thought it turned out pretty good. Learned a lot as I went. Tried playing with the render settings to add DoF, smoother textures and dynamic lighting. May have over done some parts (especially the lighting), but it is a learning process. :D Only software used was SFM. There is no basket on Pinkie's head or pencil-drawn watch on Rainbow due to not wanting to spend the time determining best how to do such. Also, due to the restrictions of working in a 3D environment, some of the positioning of limbs causes strange effects. I did my best to minimize this and even improvised some movements to prevent it. One example is the last part, where making a pony stand up looks a bit strange... Why this scene? It did not have any walking, which, at the time, I had yet to create an animation set for, and was in an area that did not require interaction with elements I did not have (i.e. buildings or other models). Also, thought it was a funny scene. :P The models used are from here: http://poninnahka.deviantart.com/art/Pony-Overhaul-Females-Release-357693278 My Deviant Art: http://argodaemon.deviantart.com/ Featured on Equestria Daily: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/03/sfm-drinking-telegram-momoiro-pony.html
