Learn to use the Hammer more effectively and become feared like no other.\n\nViewing the video itself will not help you get better.  You have to go out, practice, and play around to get good at anything.  Good luck!\n\nNOTE: After the Update in April, the Hammer now tries to \"lock on\" to certain targets.  While this can be helpful, I found that it just screws me over hardcore.  Ground-aiming is now much more difficult.  Sigh.\n\nOther tips:\n-The hammer has 3 primary uses: First Strike, Assault, and Support.\n-First Strike: If you hit the \"Sweet Spot\", you can take people out before they even know what happened.\n-Assault: The hammer can be a large threat if used on the offensive, especially if the other team has problems utilizing their own hammer.  You can just about be a God.\n-Support: This normally only applies when Friendly Fire is OFF.  Killing your own teammates is not fun.  When an enemy is distracted with a teammate, they are an easy target.  Also, dropping the hammer around the corner where your teammate is going to run out forces any ambush to be delayed from the opposing side.\n\nTry not to use the hammer for defensive purposes.  While it can be used effectivly, the delay from the blast can leave an easy opening for a bum-rush.  If the other team thinks they can catch you off-guard with the hammer, pull out a shotgun and show them how you play.  Also, playing defensively usually means camping.  If you want to known as godly with a hammer, don't camp.  It just pisses people off.\n\nMOST IMPORTANT TIP OF ALL!!! - Never aim at where an enemy is.  Aim where you expect them to be.  When people hear the hammer, they know to move.  They are more likely to move back towards their own spawn.  Instead of aiming directly at a person, aim at the ground behind them.  When they hear the hammer dropping, they will most likely walk into it.  If they show no signs of moving while it is dropping, just move it slightly more towards them.\n\nIf Friendly Fire is ON - Use the Left-Bumper as much as possible.  I have learned firsthand many times that teammates don't like to be killed by teammates.  If you think your next blast could cause problems, ask your teammate exactly where he is or just don't drop it.\n\nHolding the Hammer's Blast - If you are blind shotting the hammer from a distance, don't hold it down past the initial blast.  Letting the hammer roam around with no target is pointless and useless.  It can also cause the enemy to know your position based on when the hammer gets \"stuck\" on a wall and travels in a straight line.  Quick bursts also allows the hammer to get it's next charge quicker.  If you can see the enemy, then try to melt them.\n\n-Never aim the hammer directly at a person when charging.  It is too easy to move.\n-If you are being charged, never aim the hammer past them, only in front.  If they strafe, they could easily break the beam and you will be dead.\n-Don't try to aim at the ground on the top-most rooftop.  If you look up, there is a walkway thing.  More then likely, the blast will not work because of such.  Consider it the hammer's \"blind spot\".\n-Do not let the hammer even start to drop until you KNOW you have it aimed correctly.  If someone sees the beams start spawning and then disappear, they will probably move.  Give up that location and try another.\n-People charge the left side more then the right because they don't have to worry about the enemy bunker being right next to them.  Incidentally, it is easier to hammer intruders from this side.\n-If someone on the other team can hit the \"Sweet Spot\" as well, just stay towards the back of the roof.  You will get hurt, but not killed, allowing you to do the same if you wish.  Also tell your team to go around to the left to get on the roof to prevent any early casualties.\n\nThere are many more strategies and aim locations then are not shown in this video.  I don't want to give myself a disadvantage too severe!  Go explore the level by yourself with a friend and just see for yourself.\n\n***Remember, you can drop the hammer just about anywhere in this level; it is FROM where that gives you the upperhand.***\n\n*Note on Clans* I am no longer in a clan and don't have any plans to join another.
