Different songs express different things. Remixes are a way of creating an outlet of that expression. Truly, you can remix a song and maybe remixing a song could devalue it. Because that song is un-remixable, in a sense. But really, remixing is making it so it's true to the artist. You can hear a remix and relate it back to a track. But what if you didn't? It's almost true to the artist, and remixes are different interpretations based on the artist. In here, there were many points where there is energy and where it's halted. Maybe it's symbolism. We slowly grow and create things we didn't know we were capable of. Before the highlights are the calm days that are needed. To contrast everything out, and then buildup to our awakening. To truly wake up and experience what we can make, and to experience what we can add in here. -- You know, I've been edging to remix this for a while. Ever since the song came out and I asked for the stems haha. So this is well overdue. But I'm really glad that I waited, because I learned a lot, improved and I'm really proud with the result! This is probably one of the first, more sound design oriented songs and I am glad to be trying new things out. The original had phenomenal vocal chops which I really love and really made it stand out. I wanted to switch up the atmosphere and bring more energy, while still instilling the emotion in there, with the contrast of really chill breaks and hard-hitting drops. I really love what I do, and it's one of those things that are un-explainable. It's just something I love to do so much and I love to contribute to this fandom. Every time I'm writing these descriptions that probably only 2 people will read, I grin because I love writing them. I grin because I know at least one person will read these.
