Hey, guys! Been a while since I've posted anything, and so I decided to post an original song out of the blue, because whynot! I'm pretty sure watching in HD makes the sound better, so there's that.

The inspiration for this song is sort of this mental image I had of Twilight and the gang waiting on that train to get to Our Town after the map called them there, and not really knowing what was in store for them. It must be pretty nerve wracking to be waiting and having no clue what's going to happen next. But, though Twilight is starting this new adventure, she'll always come back home, wherever home may be, and no matter what, she'll do her best to fullfill her duty as Princess of Friendship.

(Goodness gracious, that was dramatic.)

So, this song was really fun to work on! I sound like a total dork rapping, but that's completely fine, because it was super entertaining.

I've had this song basically done for a long time, and I actually write a lot of original music – I've just never posted any original songs before for some reason or another here. I figured that with the hype surrounding the upcoming episode 100, it'd be a good time to throw this into the air for folks to listen to, and maybe even enjoy.
