As followers of my other videos might remember, I mentioned that I was doing each of these parts separately since my one giant audio file wasn't working. Commentary on the Commentary:
Track 5: This one used the most clips out of any song in this movie. I thank the stars for the long, artistic bits from "It's All About the Art", else I have no idea how I would have filled in that last minute of singing...
Track 6: Sigh... this is one of my favorite songs in the bunch, but this part gave me trouble. It's so fast that all the clips were too short for my program to be happy with. Still, I love how well Spike fit's this role. He's "all about the written word" after all!
Track 7: Moist was the hardest pony to cast. There's really almost no one who is like him in the show. What was the deciding factor was actually a line from the last song: "And they cut my whole Moist storyline". Who didn't get much of a role in MLP? That, and she's one of only three who is ever seen playing piano.
