And after all that talk in the last video about how important personality is in casting, I go ahead and use Discord for Kaa. Well, what can I say. It's not like they're completely different. My Little Pony doesn't really have any character that, for want of a better word, simpers. So when I have to come up with matches for secondary villains or sidekicks, I have to stretch my requirements a little further.

Kaa may have feared confronting Shere Khan, but he was a manipulator, prone to enjoying his victories in comfort and style, and even had the same kind of hypnotic eyes as Discord. And of course, that voice! Plus, everyone seemed to want Discord here anyway, so put all together I'd have to have been obstinate to force anyone else. Sometimes that casting is done for me.
