Ready for a gigantic pmv? This is one of two cartoons I ponified for Bronycon 2014, the first episode of Total Drama Island! SPOILERS! WATCH THE VIDEO BEFORE READING THE DESCRIPTION! This one was actually my back-up episode in case anything went wrong with the first two, and boy did something ever! My computer suffered a breakdown about a month ago and ate the file containing my original idea for an episode of the Powerpuff Girls, but left in a half link. Whenever I tried to replace the PPG audio, my computer glitched up the half-eaten file instead. I can fix it, but it would have taken more time than I had, so I moved on to this one instead. And boy am I glad I did! I started this episode a year ago, but work fell off because I couldn't get the cast down just right. I decided to wait until season 4 ended and flesh out the concept more, rather than deliver on a sub-par video. While I was waited I applied for and got a panel at the con, so it fit smoothly into place! Mr. ShinyObject was actually going to create a Total Drama Island opening for me, but he fell out of touch with me about six months ago and I couldn't wait any longer. I would have loved to have an opening, but in hindsight that would have spoiled a lot of the fun of finding out who the cast was. Considering that was the entire point of this episode... yeah, it's better this way. Talking about each of the casting choices I made would take more space than Youtube allows in a description, but know that I spent most of a year ironing out who'd play who. I consider this one of my crowning achievements on casting, as more than 25 personalities needed to be juggled against each other. While giving every one of them the appropriate scenes and expressions for what was needed. This was a beast to balance, but it's all the more impressive for it! I want to thank Eldonde, DisneyFanatic2364, Bridleway462gha, and Geo Wiz once again for helping me make the commercials. Was anyone wondering why so many artists were doing the same thing recently? They were the hardest part of this project to keep secret but easily the best part of the whole thing. Thanks again guys! And as ever, I do not own My Little Pony or any audio and video used here, but I do have this marshmallow. It represents surviving another campfire ceremony and getting to stay on the island another three days. Plus it's tasty!
