Make sure in the timeline (if you are using frame by frame mode / not covered in this video) you have Dispose or Automatic ticked. Dispose means that after a frame is played it gets removed and the next frame is shown. Do not dispose means that all the frames appear at once and the animation simply cycles through which one is on top.

Different browsers play GIFs at different speeds. If your animation is too fast it will skip frames in some browsers. To avoid this, don't set your frames to "nodelay," set it to 0.02 or 0.03 instead.
