I'm answering an AnY Asks video!  So, in the last video he asks what Pony-Super hero crossovers did we think was cool.  Well, I really have only one option as there was real only one super hero media I followed closely as a kid... Sailor Moon.  So basically I'm going to cast My Little Pony characters as Sailor Moon characters.  So, how I'm going to go about this is I'm going to look at the characters' role in the show, their powers, but most importantly I'm going to look at just their characters as they are.  What I mean by this is even though Princess Luna is the Princess of the Moon she won't necessarily be Sailor Moon and even though Rainbow Dash can control lightning it doesn't necessarily make her Sailor Jupiter.  Got it?  Good, let's move ahead.\nSo remember what I said about roles in the show not playing the biggest factor?  I'm sorry, but Twilight Sparkle is not Sailor Moon.  Yes, she's the leader of the group, she's the most powerful, she even became a princess, but that's where the similarities end.  Twilight Sparkle is a bookworm who sometimes takes things way too seriously.  Usagi is an airhead who never takes anything seriously, especially not school.  And I just can't consider these two characters to be parallel in the slightest.  The far more obvious parallel would be between Twilight Sparkle and Ami, Sailor Mercury.  Both of them are very devoted to their friends and have a loyalty to them but are also the bookworm and love studying and take school and other things very seriously.  It's stated that Ami is everything Usagi is not.  So, basically all the reasons I said Twilight couldn't be Usagi is all the reasons why she is Ami.  And Ami sometimes can be a little Fluttershy-esk in her shyness I still think that Twilight is the best fit for her.\nSo, remember how I said that Rainbow Dash was not necessarily Sailor Jupiter?  Let me re-phrase that:  Rainbow Dash is NOT Sailor Jupiter.  Although they both control the whether and they are both tomboy-esk, again that's where the similarities stop and there's just so much more to Sailor Jupiter that just doesn't parallel itself with Rainbow Dash.  A far better parallel for Rainbow Dash would be Sailor Mars.
