“Cherry Jubilee" BGM from the episode “Party Pooped” of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” (S05E11).


--Overall Comments--

This was just a fun episode to watch, complete with hilarious moments, great quotable lines, and too many crazy facial expressions to count!  Gotta love an episode which has both Pinkie Pie and Twilight going slightly-crazy with worry and pressure.  In this episode we see another new creature in the Equestria universe, the Yaks from Yakyakistan.  They don’t seem to like anything unless its absolutely perfect, which leads to trouble when they open their borders for the first time in years and visit Ponyville.  “Dear Princess Celestia, I just started a war.”

The music in this episode, much like last weeks, was fantastic, and had a surprising number of new score in it.  From the barbaric theme for the Yaks, to Pinkie’s dramatic over-the-top music for her monologues, this episode provided us with more fantastic score than I expected.  Without any further ado, let’s get right to it!


--Track Specific Comments--

After not having a substantial appearance since season 2’s “The Last Roundup” (although she did appear in the stands in “Equestria Games”, Cherry Jubilee returns to help Pinkie on her quest for Yaktakistan!  For her, we get a saloon-style player piano theme, much like the score she had when she originally first appeared in “The Last Roundup”.
