~~~~~PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW FOR INFORMATION REGARDING MY RIPS OF THE FRIENDSHIP GAMES INSTRUMENTALS.~~~~~

I know many of you, including myself, were really looking forward to the instrumental / song rips from "Friendship Games".  The songs from the movie were fantastic, and I've been looking forward to today ever since the movie came out.

However, some bad news.  Pretty much all of the songs in the movie are mixed in such a way that makes it impossible for me to get any instrumental rips from them.  The first movie had a few problems, but I was able to work around them to extract instrumentals.  "Rainbow Rocks" had a similar issue where I couldn't extract instrumentals from the songs.  However, I was still able to get backing vocals and alternative arrangements from them.

This unfortunately is not even possible for this movie.  The fact that a great deal of the songs from the movie are large ensemble ones (a.k.a everyone from each school is singing) means that even a backing vocals rip is pointless, because there are none.  All of the front channels contain all of the singers.  For the songs that are not ensemble pieces, such as Sci-Twi's solo "What More is Out There", there is more reverb put into the front and rear channels than I have heard in any song from the series before.  This means listing to those channels is almost like listening to the original song, just a ton more echo-y.  In addition, while there is an instrumental in the rear channels for some of the songs, it is extremely reverb-y and distorted, and, as I said above, has very loud ghosting of the vocals.

So yeah, unfortunately no song rips.  I _will not_ be posting just the songs themselves, as they already have an official release in much better quality (and with full versions), so spending more countless hours ripping those out would be pointless. Plus, it seems many uploads of those have been taken down quickly.  I might be able to get a few things for a few songs, including alt vocals & bass versions.  I'll upload them as I am able to get them, and of course will upload any I am able to get from other sources (such as apps).  In addition, I _was_ able to extract the BGM as normal, so go see the Friendship Games playlist on my channel for all of that goodness!
