--Overall Comments--

Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and their sisters are out camping, and wind up trapped in a cave hiding from Fly-ders.  While trapped, they keep themselves entertained by telling different legends.

Three different stories are told, each with their own characters and musical styles.  We first travel into the story of Rockhoof, who’s score brings a medieval styling to match the story’s setting.  Next, we hear about Mistmane, who’s setting is Asian-inspired, and who’s beautiful score follows suit.  Finally, we hear the tale of Flash Magnus, accompanied by some heroic and march score, similar to the Wonderbolts’ style.

While the episode only has 7 tracks of score, don’t let that fool you into think the music is a lightweight!  The score for each of the stories are more or less one wholly contained musical piece, so each story’s works out to around 4 - 5 minutes in length!  And boy, are those tracks gorgeous.

--Track Specific Comments--

The episode end with one final track as the group finds another exit to the cave, which leads them right to Windsome Falls.

We conclude the scene in Windsome Falls with a lovely concluding cue which was first introduced a few episodes earlier in the season.  It was previously heard at the end of “Discordant Harmony” in the track “‘We Make Sense to Me’.”  The version here is more subdued, with the glockenspiel really taking the center stage, with softer strings backing.
