Sorry to disappoint internet, covid didn't get me.

For those who do actually care - wow I actually came back after 2 years of absolutely nothing that has happened for this channel. Long story short, source filmmaker from 2007 has run its course. It technically did as of 2018. Why is a new short video appearing now? It is because of a Half Life Alyx content drop, and the addition of gm_construct and gm_flatgrass to the SFM workshop. The two maps took the community long enough to finally port from useless Garry's Mod to Source Filmmaker. Have I used Source 2 Filmmaker? Yes. Why are you still using old SFM? Because Pony SFM is stupid and nobody except me are buying the VR gear apparently. How about Pragma Filmmaker? I dunno you tell me https://www.patreon.com/silverlan

Two years for a minute long video should also give you the hint that maybe I am getting a life too. I don't have the same kind of free time I once did back in 2011-2018. I will admit, for me the covid situation has blessed me with some more free time to temporarily re-visit both the Source Filmmaker and Source 2 Filmmaker in Half Life Alyx. I build other types of classified projects now. SFM has actually become quite boring and repetitive as of late.

Oh I bet the Pony SFM community has some kind words for me hurr durr.
Life
How on earth would SFM hold any level of priority? The best odds, somehow Pragma Filmmaker gets done, and its supposed Source + Source 2 asset porting capabilities work. That in itself is still low odds. I also have lost all contact with my former crew, it is just me now. I would expect if another video is to even show up here, one of those odds has to be beaten. Otherwise, I guess I'll see you again sometime in .............. who really knows?
