I tuned up my Pearl 14 x 4 Piccolo snare and just fiddled around with it. I absolutely love the sound and the crack this thing makes!
I use a remo coated ambassador x as my batter head and an evans snare side 300 as a reso head. Plus I added some puresound 20 strand wires.
