... Something I decided to do on the cnc mill my cousin and I built... seriously.. making this video took longer than the entire design/machine process. 
I don't usually do art stuff on mills.. most of what I do is work related.. so consider this a proper combination of work and pleasure ;-)

CNC mill is designed and built by my cousin and me
the axis motors are 380 oz-in nema 23
the driver is a gecko 540 4 axis board.
screws are 2 start 1:5 acme precision with delrin nuts
the spindle is a 3kw water-cooled with matching hy-sung vfd.
limits x-axis+36" y-axis=24" z-axis=4"
cut rate 60in/min
software used photoshop and illustrator for design. autocad for conversiont to dxf cambam for selecting and rendering cutpaths and Mach3 to drive the controller.
