Desolate land expands out all around a small village. Not even Unicorn magic can bring life to this dead, empty space. Yet amongst all the dreary scenery lives a simple mare with a gift: A gift to give life to the ground around her. Renowned and hated for her gift, she is cast out by many and said to be a witch of sorts. One day the citizens of this village do what they believe is the right thing: They try and kill the witch. They believed they succeeded until the following day. Carrot Top returned, unscathed and just as serene as ever. Despite their actions, she held no ill will toward the villagers. It was then that the villagers had realized that they had misjudged her. 6 months pass and the story of Carrot Top spreads far and wide. Jealous and enraged by her gift, ponies from far and wide congregate to rid the world of this "otherwordly" creature once and for all. However, the villagers step in to protect her, no matter what the cost. Before the conflicts escalates, Carrot Top steps in and offers herself to the enraged ponies. She is then tied up and burned alive inside her house. Even as her light fades, the welfare of the villagers; her friends, remains her top concern. As the smoke clears, all that is left of Carrot Top and her house is ash and smoldering wood. However, amidst this dark, depressing scene, a small garden flourishes almost instantaneously. Though she is gone, she left her friends a reminder: She will always be there for them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This took FOREVER to make, and it's the reason I haven't posted anything in over a month. 8| I used Audacity, and FL Studio 10 with a bunch of included and aftermarket plugins including Melodyne for the "Glazey" vocals. This was my first time using FL Studio or audio plugins of any kind (except for Melodyne) and I was doing a lot of researching and learning and experimenting as I went along, and that's why it took so long. Shouldn't happen again :) (I hope) Anyway, all the vocals are mine. ALL of them. XD THE VISUALS ARE NOT!!! The visuals are comprised of three different typographies by VTVivid, Dragzeela (aka X-90), and NoPonyZone. I like VTVivid's typography best, but It's a work in progress and is very short. NoPonyZone's is my second favorite, but it's really hard to follow in many parts. Dragzeela's is the only other typography I could find for this song surprisingly :/ Go Check out their typographies here: VTVivid's typography: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWZmjP_yRlU NoPonyZone's typography: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpZUgqf5Szw Dragzeela's typography: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e7DZ-V5ImY Original song (Beyond Her Garden) by Glaze Check him out here: https://www.youtube.com/user/WoodenToaster Remix by The Living Tombstone Check him out here: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheLivingTombstone Rap lyrics by MicTheMicrophone Check him out here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MicTheMicrophoneZero Video thumbnail image (minus my OC on the right) was made by SirPayne.
