Five months ago, after stumbling upon Digibrony's inebriated review and having my curiosity sufficiently piqued, I started reading the shipfic Vinyl and Octavia: University Days. Needless to say, I rather liked it - I read all (then) 18 chapters within 24 hours, and went on to make a dramatic reading of the fic. By the time I hit chapter seven, I was so in love that I just couldn't help but pick up my guitar and start writing fan music.

This is that.
