For the celebration of 9 years of ponies, the ending of Friendship is Magic and my five years of watching the show,
I have made this PMV that represents the roots of the show with the early lives of the mane 6,
but also represents the things that are ahead of them as visions from the future.
All of those images and feelings are acompanied by the first and second song off Haken's 2016 album, "Affinity", called "Affinity.exe" and "Initiate".
The first song is more of an intro for the whole PMV, with this neat computer animation, which throws all of you into this "AffinityOS", then into the Affinity.exe program which loads all of the mane 6, their memories and the PMV itself before immersing you into the actual and varied PMV with the beginning of the song "Initiate".
I really am proud of how this one turned out to be, mainly with the retro-futuristic computer animations I did there,
but also with the other visuals and the color grading.
I view this PMV as a prequel to my popular PMV "1985", not only because, obviously, those two songs are literaly before 1985 in that album, but also because it's similar in spirit and with the lack of typography and more of an accent on the visuals.

I made this PMV in a month or so, but I really made a lot in the last two weeks or so.

I originally wanted to premiere it on the 10th (which would have been great for the 9th anniversary of FIM and the first anniversary of 1985), then on the 12th (which was the day of the series finale), both of which failed to be the dates, because I did not manage my time correctly, because times have changed for me since a month with the beginning of my film and TV school adventure since then and that's shaken my life a bit since then. (Yes I'm in Film school right now, and I will be part of my first real short film set this Wednesday as a second assistant camera, wish me luck everyone!)

I will most likely take a break from PMV making in the next couple of months, as this PMV was kind of laborious to make with all of the softwares problem I had (even though I like the end result a lot) and makes me want to get back to that mystery audio project which I started on working on about a year ago (Yes, it's that long), so I really wanna change the pace of my life by getting the focus back on this project.
So, I hope you understand me guys!
